Catalytic Valorization of
Alternative Feedstock Molecules
A key challenge to move towards a more sustainable chemistry is to move away from fossil fuels and use renewable feedstocks. Catalysis can be key in the valorization of biomass or waste products such as plastics or CO2 to obtain value added products that can be further utilized as platform molecules in organic synthesis.
